2011 Kia Sportage: The Review

Today, increasing number of people are getting aware of its utility and the customizable options of the machine and that is the main reason there has been improvement in the quality of SUVs and the versatility of use it gave. The new 2011 Kia Sportage bought along lots of styling changes with good amount of features and sharper handling skills of the machine. The latest Sportage has been completely redesigned vehicle for the year 2011.
The new 2011 Kia Sportage is a compact crossover machine that has seating capacity for five passenger, the new machine is available in three trim level options of the base trim, the LX trim and the EX trim. The turbocharged SX model would be available after some time of the actual launch of the vehicle. The standard features of the machine are full power accessories, air conditioning features, six speaker CD/MP3 player, cloth upholstery, 16 inch cast aluminum wheels, Bluetooth options, USB and auxiliary input jack options. The LX models comes with external changes of exterior mirrors, keyless entry and tinted rear window, the machine has an optional 17 inch wheels only in the LX trim level option. The Sportage EX trim comes with options like chrome exterior accents, LED daytime running lights, dual zone automatic climate control, chilled glovebox, leather wrapped steering wheel with telescopes, power driver seats, roof rails, 18 inch wheels and fog light options. The LX and the EX models adds options like voice controlled navigation system with back up camera, an upgraded audio system, the premium package includes features like auto dimming rearview mirror, rear parking sensors, keyless ignition, panoramic sunroof, ventilated driver seats, leather upholstery, heated front seats and more.
The powertrain in the base Sportage, LX and the EX trim comes equipped with 2.4 liter inline 4 engine that gives the output of 176 hp and 168 lb ft of torque options, the base Sportage machine comes with six speed manual transmission options and the other trim comes with six speed automatic transmission as an optional feature. The buyers for the LX and EX trim can opt for front and all wheel drive options, the SX trim would be equipped with a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine. The new Sportages are engineered and suitable for light off-road purposes, the fuel estimates of the machine are 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. The standard safety options included in the 2011 Kia Sportage are full length side curtain airbags, antilock disc brakes, front side airbags, stability control, active front headrests, brake assist options, active front headrests, hill descent and hill start control, traction control and more options.
