2011 Chevrolet Cruze: Review
Cars | September 24, 2010The latest 2011 Chevrolet Cruze is a compact sedan that gives improved performance with all-new efficient turbocharged engine that has sharper steering and upscale interior design and good handling capability. The new Cruze is a small sedan compact in nature, that comes with three trim level options of the LS trim, the LT trim and the LTZ trim. Some time in the later part of the year, Eco version of the LS trim would be available.

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze‘s LS trim comes with standard options like air conditioning, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, Onstar system, 16 inch steel wheels, 60/40 split rear seat, eight way adjustable driver seat, trip computer, full power accessories, auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio, six speaker stereo with CD/MP3 player and more. The new LS Eco version comes with great-optimized options of low rolling resistance tires, aerodynamic improvements and turbocharged engine options. The LT trim comes with additional subsets of two trims of 1LT and the 2LT trim version. The 1LT trim comes with standard options of a turbocharged engine, color keyed power sideview mirrors, chrome wheel covers, floor mats and one touch up driver window. The 2LT trim comes with options like leather upholstery, cruise control, remote vehicle start, alloy wheels, heated front seats, steering wheel mounted audio controls, USB/iPod port that is used for audio system, six way power driver seats and Bluetooth options. The latest Cruze;s LTZ trim comes equipped with options like auto dimming rearview mirror, 18 inch alloy wheels, sport tuned suspension, rear park assist, four wheel disc brakes, automatic climate control, vanity mirrors and more options.

The powertrain options of the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze includes 1.8 liter inline 4 cylinder that gives the output of 136 hp and 123 lb ft of torque. The LT and the LTZ trim comes with equipped turbocharged 1.4 liter inline 4 that gives the output of 138 hp and 148 lb ft of torque options. The LS and the LS Eco trim comes with six speed manual transmission with six speed automatic options. The machine can zoom from zero to 60 mph in a matter of 9 to 10 seconds. The standard safety options of the machine comes equipped with full length side curtain airbags, stability control, front and rear side impact airbags, antilock brakes, front knee airbags, rear side impact airbags and other option features like front disc and rear drum brake setup options. The upgrades in the machine include four wheel disc brakes options.
